Glasgow#1 is formed from a single 45 minute binaural field recording made during a journey from Jason's flat via Pollokshields East train station, Glasgow Central station and on to Partick.
The recording has been cut up, effected, degraded, processed and re-processed in order to convey a sense of dislocation from both time and place coupled with disorientation, anxiety and panic. The purpose of this is to give the listener a sense of what it is like to be an M.E. sufferer, to try and give an accurate sonic representation of the surrounding environment when M.E. symptoms are at their worst.
